Caitlin hosts the Renegade Reading Series, a monthly reading series for emerging writers at Cafe con Libros, a feminist community bookstore in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

She will be speaking at World Forum Disrupt's Women in Media conference on the subject of Building an Inclusive Culture from the Ground Up on December 5.

She will also be presenting two workshops entitled Don't Let Time Make a Fool of You! How to Manage, Reclaim, and Make the Most of Your Time and Expelliarmus: Identifying, Disarming, and Defeating Impostor Syndrome at the Granger Leadership Academy in March 2019.

She presented her paper entitled “Oh, don't start acting as though you understand Quidditch”: From the open to the close, how the wizarding sport people love to hate is quite possibly the most important symbol in the HP series at the 7th Annual Harry Potter Conference at Chestnut Hill College on October 20.

She appeared on Reading, Writing, Rowling, a podcast on Mugglenet focused on the scholarship of J.K. Rowling’s literary works, chatting about Quidditch.

Caitlin presented a workshop entitled Friends, Waffles, (Net)work: How to Network Strategically to Build Your Community and Achieve Your Goals at the Granger Leadership Academy in March.

She presented her paper entitled The Weasley Children & the Seven Deadly Sins: Finding Fault in Everyone’s Favorite Family at the 6th Annual Harry Potter Conference at Chestnut Hill College on October 20.
